Compact Low-dropout Linear Regulator Design in 0.13 µm CMOS Technology for IoT Based Remote Infectious Disease Monitoring System

With the widespread adoption of internet things (IoT), power management different electronic (i.e. IoT) devices has become a major challenge. The low-dropout linear regulator (LDO) circuit is widely used for applications devices. This article reports design and simulation circuit, powered by 1.2 V DC supply voltage. In order to optimise dissipation, low layout silicon area lower dropout voltage, current mirror based transistor optimised LDO been implemented. results show that proposed exhibits 582 mV 1.568 mW very compact 163.84 µm 2(12.795 × 12.805 µm). archi- tecture designed validated in 0.13 TSMC CMOS process technology using Mentor Graphic EDA tools.
